🕒 Timeline Tool Overview

This tool helps identify potential wildfires and prescribed fires that may have contributed to PM2.5 exceedances affecting a monitoring site's design value.

  • Select a monitoring site from the map or by entering the AQS ID.
  • Set a PM2.5 threshold to define exceedances.
  • Choose a date range to evaluate surrounding fire events.

After submitting, the timeline will highlight exceedance days and summarize nearby fire activity — within 50 miles for prescribed fires and 100 miles for wildfires.
